Hi. Just found this board, very interesting. I was diagnosed with LOCAH amost 3 years ago by an RE. Had been trying to get pregnant for 4 years and thought there was something going on. My gyn thought I had PCOS, I had many of the symptoms except I had no cysts on my ovaries.
I guess I’m a carrier, I don’t have any real symptoms except for irregular periods. I have a little hair on my upper lip as well. I do have a problem with weight, in that before I started treatment no matter how much I exercised or dieted, my weight seems to stay the same.
I’m being treated with BCP’s- I’m taking Yasmin. I’m taking it constantly since I also have endometriosis, and I just cannot deal with anymore heavy, painful periods. Since I’ve been taking the Yasmin all the time, I have managed to lose a couple of pounds.
Anyhow, just wanted to say hi, and how neat it is to see a couple of other people on this board that seem to have as mild of a case of LOCAH as I do.
