It means you’re "only" a carrier. You only have one CAH gene. My son is only a carrier and most people will give the party line that carriers have no symptoms. But my son definitely had some symptoms of late onset CAH which is why I brought him to an endo in the first place. I had a very hard time getting someone to give him a low dose of cortef which has worked very well for him. But enough about us. Heterozygous means you’re a carrier.
