Whoops- sorry about that nt post. Anyways, wanted to mention something about insulin resistance that I’ve found interesting. They’ve found that prepubertal girls who were underweight and then rapidly gained weight to achieve a more normal weight tended to be insulin resistant. I have no idea what the hormonal mechanisms are that cause that, but there it is! Perhaps something like this happen with either one of your girls?Martha
