Thanks everyone for your input on Medic Alert bracelets. I called this company and they seem wonderful. When I questioned "Where" the bracelet should be placed they strongly recommended the wrist. When I questioned about placement on the ankle I was told that unless there is a broken limb involved they would not even check there. My endo had suggested putting it on my baby's shoe, I asked them about this and they said absolutely not. Usually in the case of an auto accident shoes tend to be knocked off or taken off.
