My daughter had her surgery almost exactly 1 year ago. She was 3 mos. old at the time. They had said sh'e be in the hospital 3 to 4 days but she came home after 1 night. They removed the catheter in the hospital. She did wonderfully. There really was no "after care" to speak of in our case. We applied an ointment after each diaper change but that was about it. I expected to see stitches and wounds but everything was internal. Don't stress, not as bad as it sounds!!!! Best of luck, feel free to email me!!!!!!!!
