I saw the last half of the show. I thought the ped endo was very good. It was the first time I had heard CAH described on these types of shows. I still don't understand why a chromosone test is not discussed. In the case of CAH, the child is either a male or female chromosonally and I believe that is how the child should be raised. I also think each case is different and each situation needs to be evaluated. Also, on the show they have people who are in their 20's and 30's. Obviously, things have changed quite a bit over the years. I'm sure CAH was handled differently then. Being a parent of a girl, I can't imagine letting her grow up and letting her make a choice. She is a girl and was always a girl !! Hopefully she will understand all of this when she gets older. I'm not looking forward to that explanation. Take Care, Judy
