I had to go back to work when my daughter was four months. My husband and I interviewed our in-home care provider and explained our daughter's medical needs to her. We emphasized the importance of an immediate phone call should she fall ill at all. She was quick to tell us that she sends home all sick children so that need not be a concern. I started off working three 1/2 days. Once my confidence in her was built I quickly picked up one more 1/2 day then eventually the 5th. My job is one in which when I'm done I go home usually by 2pm. Whenever I ran overtime I called to tell her to go ahead and give her afternoon dose. We have since moved and she is watched by her Grammy 5 1/2 days and believe me Grammy is very dilligent about her meds!!!!!Good luck. (I too never brought the injectible to daycare for I have always only worked 10 mins away)
