Martha, Congratulations to you and your family on your recent blessing. I have a 2 year old and 1 year old both severe salt wasting 21 hydroxzy. CAH. We too had the testing done by Dr. New. It gave us peace of mind from the stand point that we knew the delivery room would probably not turn into the traumatic circus that our first baby had. Other than that both of our daughters are night and day. I use our experience from our first daughter as merely a basis but I know they are very different. Their responses to stress are very different, even their signal to crisis, etc. Since you are still recovering from giving birth, be sure to surround yourself with positive and loving people. Take a break when you need it. You will soon settle into a routine and it will work out ok. I remember when my second daughter was born and I was post partum I would cry every morning while getting all of their meds together (which seemed to take forever at first!) wondering what on earth my husband and I had done. Then I realized that I had two little miracles to take care of and I got to work. Continue to be assertive with their endo. As a mom you know what is best for your children! Best of luck! Take Care!
