I must voice my personal opinion on teaching schools-hospitals. If it weren't for our teaching hospital & the observant resident who had just read about CAH in his studies, my son would probably be dead. After his initial crisis & diagnosis he was treated in our "teaching hospital's out-patient clinic" by the residents & over-seen by the State Certified Doctor. He has never had a problem with it. Probably because of the way I handle the situation as his parent. I never leave him alone with them, or even his 'private' Endo now, and he is 14 years old. (BTW the only reason he is with a 'private' Endo now is insurance reasons.) He knows that by seeing and treating him the students are learning. Maybe he can understand this better because this is how he learns best (ie: hands-on experiences).Deb
