I have 15 month old daughter with salt-wasting CAH. She has been sick since 5:00 am on Friday morning. She has been projectile vomitting and has also had diahrea. I called both the endo and my pediatrician regarding this. Neither of them seem too concerned since she seems to be keeping down her cortef. The endo said to stress dose her and as long as it's been in her for at least two hours she is getting it. She has been hovering around 100-101 and we have also been giving her tylenol. Yesterday she played a little bit but today all she wants to do is sleep. We have been giving her kool-aid/pedialyte a tsp at a time about every 10-15 minutes. Her coloring is fine and she does not appear to be dehydrated. My main question: HOW LONG should this go before it becomes a concern? We are scared too death. I f anyone can help, please e-mail me.
