Hi, I agree that not many drs know all the details about the tests that they order. I have been to pathologist places and they have said "din't the dr tell you not .....". I feel that Dr should be aware of the protocols for the tests that they order. I even said one day to my Endo "wouldn't it be better if the tests were done before I have my meds in the morning" and he has now taken this as being gospel. I feel that we can teach our endos and drs a lot.
