My daughter was born at 25 weeks and had a cornucopia of medical problems but nothing that is similar to what you are describing. She was born with the enlarged clitoris but that is not all that unusual for a preemie, in fact it's pretty much the norm. However, it has never normalized and as I said in my original post, is now causing her some discomfort. When she saw the ped endo at about 18 months she did some blood tests and I'm not sure what they were. I think one was to see if the testosterone level was elevated. Not sure about the rest but she said they were all normal. She said if anything came back elevated she would put her in the hospital for a day and do a "cortisol test?". Something in an IV. Anyway, we never got to that point. I made an appointment with the endo today and will have her checked out further. It just seems coincidental that she has the clitoral enlargement AND the abnormal urethral placement (almost in her vagina). Are there very very mild cases that won't cause physical illness? Thanks so much for your post.Rose
