Hi! I noticed the change in Cortef when I was moving all of our daughters meds to a different location. All of the new bottles that I had contained major settlement in the bottle, that would not shake up no matter how hard I tried. I called our pharmacist immediately and they did contact Upjohn who in turn wanted the batch number and expiration date. Upjohn called the pharmacist back and told them that they changed the gum base being used because they were having a problem with their previous supplier. They assured the pharmacy that it would not affect the quality of the Cortef. I haven't used any of these new bottles yet, but I know of a few kids who are having elevated 17OH levels currently. I'll call the pharmacy back and have them look into it again. Angela Baker
