Hi Michele and all: This seems to be an on going problem. My daughter had a problem with the liq. cortef last summer. Her 17-OHP jump significantly for no known reason. My ENDO suspected a problem with the liquid at that time. He had an additional child who's levels also jumped unexpectedly. We switched to pill form of cortef and her level was back to normal in days. Our ENDO has had 10 cases so far in the past 6-8 months with the same results. UpJohn was notified at that time and reportedly denied any changes other than the base. I would be interested in any responses you recieve from them. We are staying on the pill now that my daughter can take them at age 3.
