baby boys with salt losing CAH

My baby boy is almost 5 weeks old and was diagnosed with salt losing CAH 2 weeks ago. I am sure you all have felt how i feel at the moment - total devistation and fear for the future. Two weeks ago i had never heard of CAH , now after reaching saturation point on information regarding the condition i have many questions which i hope someone out there can answer. 1. Is it likely that my son will catch more viruses and therefor become ill, than other babies- will it seem as though the hospital is more of a home tham my real home? 2.Is it safe for him to recieve ths polio and diptheria and MMR immunisations - and if so should i expect him to become ill and need more meds. 3. At the moment he is taking hydrocortisone suspension 2 times a day, is this the norm or should it be 3 times in tablet form of are tablets for older children? 4. Finally should a baby have the 24 hrs 17OHP testing on a regular basis. I thank you for reading this and helping me in any way possible during this very traumatic time. regards Donna Shaw
