Hi Donna, Well you have made it this far, it does become easier. I have a 9 month old boy with salt wasting CAH, I honestly don't think that they are more likely to become sick. I think it depens on their own immune system. Some children have a tendency to be sickly and others don't I don't think the CAH changes that at all. I have immunized my child with everything up to this point, the MMR is at 12 months, that immunization made my first son pretty ill, and he does not have CAH. But I will give that to my baby. And if he does develop a fever I will triple his cortef. But up to this point none of the immunizations have affected him at all. My son takes 3ml's of cortef in liquid form, it is 1ml every 8 hours. I do think the pill is better when they are older. I think it is safer for them to be immunized so that in the future they don't run the risk of getting a serious illness. I hope this has helped. Hope to hear from you soon. And if I can answer any questions for you please don't hesitate. KymKym
