Hi Steve! I was sure glad to read your post. My son, 8, was just diagnosed 5 months ago with non-classic non salt wasting CAH. Your letter was interesting. He also has bad growing pains especially in his legs at night. Did you have acne? If so, did it get worse the older you got even though on medicine or no? Also, did you have to shave at a young age? Since on cortef his pubic hair seems to have stopped growing but my fear for him is that he'll have a beard in third grade. I know so many are much worse off and I'm very thankful he is healthy but I do worry about how this will affect his self esteem as he's now getting into the stage of worrying about how he looks. Please write again sometime. I'm going to print your post for him so he can see someone else went through the same types of things......Thanks!
