Hi Karen, I have four boys, two with CAH. I feel pretty much the same as Danny. To me they are healthy, happy kids that I am very glad (for lack of a better word) to have them with us!!! I think it is more of a trial having four boys as opposed to the CAH factor. :) I love my boys and of course I would change their condition if I could, but, I certainly wouldn't change the fact that I have them. Yes I would do it all over again! Something to concider... My second CAH son (fourth son) was tested at birth for CAH, the tests came up negative for CAH, then he presented himself at about 5 and 1/2 weeks with salt-wasting. Very rare instance, but, I would highly suggest testing twice after the baby is born. Once at about 4 days, then at about 2 weeks. So... we did end up doing the adrenal crisis twice! Very scary. Our second CAH son did a lot better than our first, but they are both fine now. I also agree that doing their doctor visits at the same time is easier. I also have blood work done about 2 weeks before the visits so we can sit down and discuss what changes, if any, need to be taken care of. Sorry for the long message... feel free to e-mail me anytime!Michelle
