Steve, glad to here from you!!!!!! The whole situation with my husband is VERY complicated!!!!! He was sick during the first week of his life! After two plus months of age they finally diagnosed him with Adrenal Hypoplasia, not "hyper". So he has been on hydrocortosone and flourinef his whole entire life. Now his new endocrinologist is saying it might be "hyper". The doctors at Oregon Health and Science University, where he was diagnosed and treated from infancy through his teenage years never specified what type he has. To make matters worse he was NEVER told that it could affect his fertility. After the traditional year of trying with no luck my gynecologist recommended a semen analysis. The test came back as "No sperm detected". So we were sent to a a urologist. The urologist was stumped, but not until after doing blood work, ultrasounds etc. Now were at a new endocrinologist. (AT least this one is familiar with his condition... were from a small area and the doc's don't know much about it). Besides the usual battery of blood tests he's also had a CT scan to check for tumors, and now has a MRI next week to look at his pituitary gland. We are now scared that something is seriously wrong! Do you know where I can find more information on CAH? I can't find hardly anything on it, and even less regarding Hypoplasia. Can you tell me more about the genetic counseling? I would also like to hear more about the testing Kristine is undergoing to see if she is a carrier or not. It's great to know there is someone else out there to talk to! Thanks!!!!!! Kari
