Bonnie, Reading your post I realized how close together we had children. I delivered on 7/12/94 and had the next one on 4/26/95 (15 weeks early). We also lived at the NICU for 97 days to be exact, and I too have two four-year-olds right now. They are the same age for about 2-1/2 months each year. Yes, preemies are very demanding sometimes. My first (born in 1988) was 11 weeks early and was a complete handful from the start, fussy, wanting to be held (and she doesn't have any special condition). My third is the one in question for CAH (we have yet to get a diagnosis but I have some suspicions). It's funny but the one that was the most premature was nothing like the typical preemie personality. Slept through the night, never fussy, never demanding, easy going. The only thing I notice is that she's afraid of very loud noises like roller coasters or anything that is overwhelming in the sensory department. Just thought it was funny that we had kids so close together. Seeing that test turn pink when I had a baby in the bassinette still was certainly a shocker!!!
