Hi, Welcome to our family. My son had his first real crisis when he was about 3 months old (he is now 6 months). He got a stomach bug and couldn't seemt to keep his formula down. We had been back and forth with Pedialyte and I began to be a bit concerned. My husband was staying home with him for a month, as I had just returned to work from my maternity leave. I had a gut feeling something wasn't right due to two days of spitting-up/vomiting. Sure enough, he became lethargic and took a really long nap. At diaper changing time his legs were not kicking constantly like they always do.I told my husband to call the Endo. He did, and he told him how to administer the Solu-cortef. Our baby screamed when he stuck him ,which was a great sign. We then took him into the doctor's office and he checked him out. He was not dehydrated and was doing much better. However, it was very frightening. I won't tell you that it won't be a little tense until you learn your baby's quirks or if she gets sick, but NEVER hesitate to call your Endo over your pediatrician. Also, this board is great. We ask each other everything. GOOD LUCK! And remember we all have had the same or similar feelings about this disorder. You are not alone. Michele
