Michele, My three year old, soon to be four, was just diagnoised with mild CAH. I was told by the doctor how lucky we are that it is so mild. My concern is that Kate was just put on the Cortef suspension, how did you become concerned with the drug? Were the blood levels off? Kate had a test this past Monday to evaluate her dosages, but when we arrived for the test at Children's Hospital in Pgh, they said they were putting her on the drug right away because of her advanced bone age, 6 years 10 months. I really don't know were to start to do some research about her condition. I found you by what I thought was a long shot. The doctor that we are currently seeing is even part of a gene study to find the gene that causes this. My husband and I are also participating. I'm sorry to unload this on you, but my friends don't seem to get it. Yes, I know I have been told Kate's condition is not life threatening, however, Monday changed our lives forever.
