Hi Michelle, Thought this might be useful information...About 3-4 years ago UpJohn had some problems with the Cortef suspension. In fact, there was a shortage, you couldn't get any for months. At that time, UpJohn published a formula (your pharmacist can call UpJohn's 800 number) where they were able to reconstitute from the cortef pill. My son was almost two at the time, and my endo suggested we just switch him to the pill, because he wasn't convinced their "formula" was accurate. My pharmacist has been an advocate as well as a valuable resource for information, and ideas. He developed a system where we could make our own salt solution for my son's salt replacement requirements. Has your pharmacist been any help in tracking this down?
