I got the endo to call in cortisone acetate (pill form) for Connor just yesterday. They thought the "Bad Batch" stories were rumors, but I told them I didn't want to take any chances. They were also concerned that Connor might be metabolizing the hydrocortisone too fast since his 17OHP jumped to 12,800. He told me that the cortisone acetate is more potent so this change satisfies me and the Drs. He will be taking 2.5 mg three times a day. I hope the dose isn't too high. After a change in meds like this how soon should he have the 17OHP repeated?
