Hi, Barbara. You've found a GREAT place to learn about CAH! There are alot of good links on the side of this message board. Some of your friends will "get it" in time & some never will. But you've found alot of good people here who "do" (or atleast we're trying, just like you). My CAH son is 14yrs old & I'm STILL learning! I'm glad to hear of the gene study. I am surprised to hear that you have been told that Kate's condition is NOT life threatening .... normally CAH is. Without proper meds, CAH patients CAN die. Is Kate a salt-waster?
