Hi Jill: I started giving Chelsea cortef pills (5 mg) when she was about 3 (a year ago). It was due to the fact that I couldn't get the liquid anywhere. I went to about l0 drug stores and called another l0 before the doctor prescribed the pill form. I have since been giving her the pills (2 whole ones in the am) and am using the liquid in the nightime. This is just a preference for me. I crush the pills with her flurinef and mix it with yogurt in the morning. The pills are extremely hard to break in fours. I was told just to do my best when breaking them. Alice
