Danielle, Hi! I have a almost 6 years old daughter. She has only had 8 IM injections of solu-cortef. Only 2 times did she end up in the Hospital they were due to severe vomiting and diarrhea and of course that led to dehydration. Those happened before age 3. Now I am quicker to give the injection and every thing gets better fast!!! She had a broken arm at 4 and she need a shot then as well. It was hard to give that big injection at first and I always waited until the doctor said give it. Now it's not that bad and I know if I just get it over with she will most likely recover quickly. Hope this helps....LindaLinda
