Hi Bonnie, I would suggest a second opinion if at all possible. The first bone age should be done at age one, then once a year after that. As for the meds, if she is not gaining weight and growing well the dose needs to be adjusted. There is a lot of adjusting with the meds to do before and during puberty! Yes she will grow into it, but, she will also grow out of it. What's to say later your endo will not say something similar?!
