We saw the endo today and she looked back on her notes from her visit at 15 months (she's 4 now). All her blood work back then came back normal, male hormones were not even detectable. She then checked her genitalia and measured the clitoris and it has not grown at all since she was a toddler. She says that she has seen this before and it can be considered a normal variant. She is going to speak with the urologist who saw her way back when about the abnormally positioned urethra and see what he says since she is complaining all the time about pain in the clitoral region if she is wearing something tight of being carried on my hip or something. She also ran another round of blood tests just to be sure. She doesn't seem to have any of the symptoms of CAH that I have read about other than the clitoral enlargement or any signs of precocious puberty or excessive infections or anything, so I'm beginning to feel pretty confident that the doctor is right. We'll see. Awaiting her phone call this week. Thanks to all who have responded to my posts.Rose
