Andrea Thank you so much for letting us know what happened to Connor this week and the various reactions of medical staff and yourself. Very glad to hear that Connor came through the whole thing so well - it may take him a few years to appreciate what a "super" mum you are! I really appreciate your story as my daughter is yet to have a crisis (Lexie is 8 weeks old) and every little bit of information about what to expect and what to do makes me that bit more confident. I was particularly interested to hear of the nurse's reaction (or rather lack thereof) as this is one of my greatest fears. I appreciate these staff are often overworked and have lots of demanding parents at them, but your experience had made me realise that this is no time to sit back and be polite. The speed with which Connor deteriorated has made me realise that firm assertiveness is the only way to go if I think something is wrong. So thanks again for sharing your story. Regards Danielle
