Bless his little heart! And yours! We had our 1st vomitting bug more than a month ago. Thankfully while in the ER, he a slowed a bit on the vomitting and did not seem to be going downhill...but my letter that I carry from my endo(states how much IV, etc to do in case of vomitting...they carried it out and never had to consult anyone and make themselves look like they don't know what they are doing) really seemed to help. I was armed with the best thing a parent should have...knowledge and a backbone to stand up for my baby. We have a endo appt soon and I will ask for the shot instruction then. Kyle needed me to do that BEFORE we went to the ER. We did have phenergan in the fridge for the vomitting, but nothing for the fever rectally. I wonder if we should have that, too?? We have always carried the solucortef with noe means to administer it.
