Hi everyone, hope all is well. My 8 month old son had a visit with his endo yesterday. His 17 OHP level was a bit elevated (554) so we had to increase his cortef a little. But other than that he is doing fine. I could'nt believe it when the endo told me his levels before diagnosis was 58,753!! Anyone else have such high levels? Most importantly our endo also said that the test for cah is now being added to the newborn screening in California. This is very exciting news for us considering all of the trauma my son went through. Also just to add a bit of trivia, did you know that our president J.F. Kennedy had CAH? That proves our kids can do or be anything they want to. :)
