Hi, First, what type of illness did your daughter have that caused the need for the Solu-Cortef? Could some of her behavior be illness related. When our kids are sick(the non-CAH daughter and our CAH son) they act differently. Our daughter is out-going/dramatic and has been since birth, so when she is sick everything is exaggerated. Our 7 month old son is more mild mannered, but with having 5 ear infections since March he needed more "handling" and cried or whimpered more. Now that he is finally well he is a different child. However, when we gave our first Solu-Cortef shot(3 months old) and took him into the Endo's office he said he would be hungry and probably more active. All kids as well as adults handle drugs differently. Our son was very hungry after the shot. The steroids can and sometimes do cause them the act different, but sometimes you have to take the illness into consideration. Good Luck
Michele
