I believe that sometimes the mutation is a rare type that can be missed. It is possible that that is the case for your son. We are going through testing at the moment ready for our next child, and they have said that even though we know both of us are carriers (as Christopher has CAH) the tests may not show this if we are a rare mutation. It may be worth having them do further testing.
