My children both wear medic alert bracelets and if someone were to call medic alert on behalf of my children, their medical histories would be available to them in an instant. This only benefits my children in case of an accident, so the doctors or EMT's know how to treat them properly. I also carry around a paper medical card in my wallet for every member of my family, with a medical profile listing medications and allergies, etc. Is it really a secret that your children have CAH? I try to do whatever I can to make sure my children are healthy and safe, especially in an emergency. What exactly would someone do with this information anyway? Just a thought.
