Andrea, I think we have chatted before. We just found out we are pregnant. I started the dexamethisone almost two weeks ago. So far I've lost four pounds. It wasn't from being sick or anything. I am just getting over a viral infection and am on meds for a UTI that I got before we got pregnant and meds didn't get rid of. It's a little difficult keeping track of all my meds. One is 3x/day(dex) on a full tummy. One is 4x/day(ampicillin for the UTI) on an empty stomach. My thyroid med at night and my prenatal vit in the morning!!!!!!!! I only have four more days with the ampi phew!!! The only side effect I've noticed is the nervousness. I can cope with that. We have a consult appointment Thursday for our CVS in Boston. The actual CVS will probably be late July. I'll keep you posted. PS I've been on the dex since about 4wks. Good luck!!!
