My 4 yr old son was diagnosed at 4days old and has been on the sodium cloride supplements since. He has been as high as 44ccs per day and is now down to 30per day. I have always given it to him in his formula or now his milk. He now gets two 6 oz cups of milk in the mornig with 9cc's per and one at lunch with 12cc's. We gave up the night time one because we have having difficulty with bed wetting and feel along with the doctor that it may have been to much at night. I didn't breast feed however, I have several friends that did with their non cah children and always pumped some and froze it in bottle liner bags. They did this so they could get the child used to taking an occassional bottle. If you do this you could still add to your breast milk. My son has never had trouble taking it. Hope this helps.Judy
