In response to questions about fathering children, my husband has CAH and was told he would never father children by his endo. Because of this, we never underwent genetic testing to see if I was a carrier. When I unexpectantly became pregnant, the dr.s said not to worry about it. Since even carrying the gene is rare, we should be OK. When our daughter was born with CAH, we were told that I was a carrier. She has just had her first birthday and is doing great, but it can be quite a scare in the beginning. Just wanted anyone who may be questioning the possibility of fathering children to be aware - even if they say you won't, you just don't know. My advice is to undergo the genetic testing for wives, just in case.Tina
