Just to answer your questions, no we do not have a family history of this. But what I did say is that on the DNA testing, it shows that my husband and I do not have any mutations, and my son only has one. Further testing is being done and hopefully the results will be here within the next week or so, because it's been about a month and a half since they took our blood samples. This mutation on my son was said to be a spontaneous mutation. Hope that clears up some of your questions. Thanks for responding Holly
