I suggest you inform the parents of the child (with pubic hair) to see a doctor/specialist immediately. Our daughter developed small soft hairs at one year of age – her pediatrician said it was not uncommon – and we waited another year before we demanded tests be done. At two years of age, her pubic hair had become course ( Stage III) and she was diagnosed with CAH. Pubic hair on a child is not normal and the difficulty of informing her parents is a small price for knowing the truth. Good luck!
