My son is only 25% for both weight & height. Our endo has always been pleased with that. Our 6yr old daughter is only 5 % for weight & 10% for height. Infact our son @27 months younger weights 37.5 and she weights 38 pounds. My husband is only 5'10" or so and I am only 5'31/2" and my all our parents except my father are smaller than us. I don't expect us to have giants for kids. My son however is what I would consider broad, just like my father and big hands like him as well. We have not really had any major events other than a recent case of vomiting that required us to administer the shot at home. It was a bit scarry but all in all we handled it pretty calmly. We try not to frighten the kids. We only had to change his meds once after a visit revealed from his blood work that he was boader line to begin puberty at approx. 2 1/2 yrs old. Our endo called with the results increased his meds and we returned a mth later instead of the normal every 4 mths for a repeat on his blood work. The following two visits it was reduced and we have remainded there ever since. The only issue I feel we currently have is with his excessive urination. We have discussed this many times with the endo and she has cut back on his sodium cloride supplements. Last fall he was as high as 44cc's per day and we are now down to 30cc's per day besides greatly salting his food. Unfortunately he wets through pull ups at night 50% of the time. He sleeps so deeply and retains so much fluid that nothing seems to be working. It got better for a bit after we reduced the sodium but it's back up again. I'm beginning to feel real bad for him because he gets very upset about it. He has been trained for almost 2yrs now and just can't get it at night. It's very upsetting to him.Judy
