Kyle is not on supplemental sodium at all. Once we hit real foods, we sort of stopped and his sodium levels remained constant. I do let him salt his food now. I htink it is mostly for the fun of it, but I want him to have access to it. How much florinef does he take? We take one tablet, and were down to 1/2 a tablet for a while. Kyle urinates more than his non-cah sister, but he drinks alot more. I used to worry about letting him go to bed after having had a large glass of water, but he would cry and cry. since he doesn't wet the bed, I let him have it. He seems to know that he needs it. he used to take a spill-proof cup of water to bed for during th night. I guess now he just gets a big glass and that is that. I have noticed that he has gotten up at night and gotten water a time or two (he canwater from outside the refridgerator). I have no ideas on his problem. I haven ot heard of many kids once off baby foods who take supplemental sodium. How long does your endo think he will need to do that and rely on the meds to keep the sodium in check?
