I am greatly grieving over the recent loss (late June) of daughter who was to turn 4 years-old this month (salt-wasting CAH). I believe that she began an adrenal crisis in the middle of the night (at about the 17th hour of a viral-type illness). I found her in a comatose-looking state in the morning. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital, however, all efforts to get her heart to beat on it's own failed. She was so beautiful and we miss her more than words could ever express. I have another CAH daughter (same age) who had the virus just 3 days earlier and she glided right through it with no difficulty. It's difficult for me to talk about things, I am still retracing the course of events and what I could have done differently. I pray that God helps us through this and lets nothing happen to my other children. As I was reading through messages, someone made a comment regarding there are several people who post on here who have lost a child. Could you or those who have gone through an adrenal crisis please share a few words? Thanks.Anne
