I have never heard of using the hydrocortisone suppositories during a time of stress or during a crisis either. How does the dose or strength compare to your child's oral dose. We usually only use hydrosortisone suppositories for hemmorrhoids over here. I would be interested in any articles or information your Endocrinologist might be able to provide about absorption of the drug rectally vs the IM shot. Thanks for sharing your information. Michele
