Re: Trouble getting solu-cortef

We ran into alot of silly red tape get the injection last year. At first they said it was reclassified and must be ordered from their mail order place in Oklahoma City. We contacted them and they sent us the wrong stuff. Meanwhile we had to go get several shots, paying for them ourselves. I spent an hour going around and around with various people in different parts of the HMO (Cigna) before they supposedly got it worked out. A few months later when we needed to get more I had to do the same thing all over again. I cna be very "persuasive" when I'm annoyed an they wound up apologizing profusely and we now have an understanding that we can get a shot whenever we need one. We like to have two on hand adn they went so far as to allow two for each child. They also are approving extra florinef and Cortef so we are getting them each month whether or not we need more so we have a stockpile for Y2K. We're about 6 weeks ahead so far.
