I am still confused about names. I'm new to this message board and some terms are confusing for me. I wonder if other readers have a problem? To clear things up can anyone help? Is classical CAH the salt- losing type? Is non-classical CAH the non salt losing type? What is late-onset CAH? ( I mean do you pick this up as a young child or teenager or what) Does this last only effect girls? The reason I want to know this answer is that I have a 10 1/2 year old daughter who is starting to get underarm hairs. I know this is within a normal range for puberty - but its a little early for my liking bearing in mind that we have a son who has CAH. Any advice.
