Re: Slightly confused and prognosis for boys

My husband is 27 and has CAH. He was very active in sports when he was boy, the only concern at the time was keeping him well hydrated. He also gets extremely tan in the summer but hardly ever burns. He's only five feet tall (though there isn't much height in his family to begin with). He has never had a problem with hairiness, acne or aggression. He is moody, though I think it's more a family trait, (ha ha) than a result of CAH. His cholesterol level has always been normal. Fertility has been a problem for us. His meds where switched by an incompetent "internal medicine specialist" without monitering the results. As a result his hormone productions became extremely unbalanced, resulting in virtually no production of fsh or lh... hence no sperm production. Luckily we now have a new endocrinologist that is knowledgeable and is trying to reverse the damage that has been done. He won't give us any guarantee regarding my husbands fertility. I hope this helps some. I'm also curious about how a person is defined as classic, non-classic, salt waster, etc.
