A question to Fi..... If this is not to personal, how long ago did you have the clitoral reduction? When my daughter had hers done in 1988, I was assured that the technique they would use on her was quite a bit different than what was used before that time. Previously, the clitoris was basically removed, but with my daughter, I was told that only a section was removed and the tip including nerve connections were rejoined. My daughter also had part of the vagina opened. She is now 14 and has had no problems with puberty. I have always wondered if I made the right decision. A bit of guilt is in there too. Anyway, the next time we see the endo is in August. I feel that it is time to set the stage for any psychological referrals we may need. Up to this point, she has not had any interest in discussing it. Thanks for your input it is truly appreciated. Peg
