I know I am coming to this discussion late but we have found our pharmacy angels at Target. They have things for me the next day-they seem to know how to get what I need. I have had no problem with the 100mg solu-cortef. I told the pharmacist to order it and she ordered a whole box of 24 vials. Whenever I pick up a bottle of Cortef, she orders another one and makes sure she has 2 on the shelf at all times-we have 2 kids on Cortef. We don't have any insurance, so we can stockpile a little easier. Whenever we have extra money, we buy an extra bottle or some Florinef. As for the new mom that has one bottle of solu-cortef and 2 needles at home-I was like you. The first time I had to give an injection to my 2 year old son, I was home alone with my 2 kids and I was so nervous, when I stuck him with the needle, he tightened his leg and the needle went popping out. I had to use another needle and I needed another bottle of solu-cortef. Fortunately, I keep one on hand for each kid, so I had it. But now i keep 6 or 8 on hand. I carry 2 in my purse in case something happens to both of my CAH kids at the same time, lots of needles, alcohol wipes, band-aids, lollipops, cotton balls. You never know!!!!Nicole
