I have one daughter that has mild CAH (non salt wasting). Even though mild, she will be on cortef for the rest of her life. I have one daughter that is only a carrier and one daughter due next month that is also only a carrier. They will not have to take any medication for carrying the gene. They will need to have their husbands checked when the time comes to have children. One carrier plus one carrier equals 50% chance of having affected child. Good luck in your testing results. Beth
